Spring Onion

Spring Onion Also known as scallions. Both the long, slender green tops and the small white bulb are edible and are good either raw or cooked. They have a similar flavour to onions but are much milder.

Position: Sun/Light Shade

Soil:  Fertile moist soil but will not grow in waterlogged soil

Spacing:  15cm (6”) apart

Harvest:  As soon as plants are growing strong, they can be used
