Grasses

Grasses come in a variety of shapes and form, many have coloured foliage from deep blue to dark mahogany, they give movement to the garden and look very well planted among heathers where they add life to the rigid mounds of these plants. Some will grow in wet soils but the majority need well-drained soils that won’t get waterlogged in winter, so plant them in raised beds or on banks.

Plant height and spread is seasonal therefore we list by pot size rather than a defined plant size. The height and spread of the plant will vary depending on the season, images are an indication only.
