Verbena ‘bonariensis’

This tall perennial is a talking point in the garden where its long slender stems hold its tiny purple flowers at their tips, it is a true bee and butterfly plant and is easy to grow, as a precaution against cold winter weather mulch around it when it dies back in Autumn with peat or bark.
