(Thymus serpyllum)  – Creeping Thyme

Creeping thyme is an easily grown, spreading plant. It is excellent planted as a lawn substitute or among stepping stones or pavers. It has masses of pink flowers in summer and they are excellent for bees and their pollen will flavour the resulting honey.

Any well-drained soil in sun /part shade

It has a flavour and smells similar to mint when crushed or steeped for teas or tinctures
