Salvia nemorosa ‘Caradonna’ is a clump-forming plant, in May it produces masses bearing masses of violet-blue flowers which last until July.

Grow it in a sunny, sheltered spot in well-drained soil. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage flowers into mid-autumn. Mulch annually with well-rotted manure, or garden compost.

It is a good bee and pollinator-friendly plant.
