Rosemary (Rosmarinus Officinalis)


A fragrant evergreen shrub whose scented foliage is a staple ingredient of Mediterranean cooking and an essential ingredient in many dishes.

Plant in a sunny well drained spot in good fertile soil to which sand has been added, avoid wet areas or alternatively plant in a container.
Trim once a year after flowering to keep at the desired size.
In the kitchen
Rosemary is used as a seasoning in a variety of dishes, such as soups, casseroles, salads, and stews.
