Prunus lusitanica Angustifolia – ‘Portuguese Laurel’

This evergreen shrub has medium-sized dark green leaves which clothe reddish stems, it is a lovely bushy plant and looks well planted as a hedge in a well-sheltered garden.

It will thrive in any well-drained soil and even manages to grow in heavy clay.
