Galtonia candicans is a bulbous perennial, with waxy, white flowers that dangle from upright stems from July until September. The flowers have a gentle fragrance. They look fantastic planted in a sunny border and makes a good cut flower. They are also a great plant for bees.

Grow Galtonia candicans in moist but well-drained soil in full sun.

Position: Full Sun, Light Shade

Soil: Almost any soil- dislikes waterlogged soil

Flowers: July until September

Hardiness: Hardy but may need frost protection in a hard winter in inland gardens.
