Euphorbia amygdaloides Purpurea – Wood Spurge

This Euphorbia has deep purple evergreen leaves and stems, its lime green flowers appear in late spring-early summer, it is an excellent plant for a shady location where it will give groundcover in a short space of time. Its only drawback is that it is toxic, wear gloves when handling it and keep it away from cattle, horses etc.

Soil: Almost any soil- dislikes waterlogged soil
