Erysimum ‘Bowles Mauve’ – Wallflower

This is a beautiful woody-stemmed perennial, with masses of mauve flowers on tall spires, from April until October. It has a fabulous scent and is a brilliant plant for bees, butterflies and pollinating insects. Trim the old flowers away to encourage more blooms. It is easy to grow but short-lived usually dying after two years but apart from this, it is well worth growing in the garden.

Soil: Almost any soil- dislikes waterlogged soil
