Cordyline Australis ‘Red Star’

A tall growing small tree from New Zealand with deep mahogany coloured long, spiky sword-like leaves. On mature plants, large clusters of small, creamy-white flowers are produced in early Summer. In cold areas with a risk of winter snow tie up the leaves to cover the centre of the plant to prevent damage, will regrow again but may take several years. Ideal in a large pot on a sheltered patio.
