Berberis darwinii ‘Compacta’ is a compact berberis, bearing small red-bronze leaves which mature to green, and rich golden-yellow flowers, followed by edible blueberries. It is perfect for growing in a mixed or shrub border and makes a good low hedge. It is a good plant for bees, Birds and beneficial for insects.

Site: Prefers shelter from drying wind but will tolerate salty air
