Apple ‘Elstar’

Elstar produces heavy, regular crops of apples which are greenish-yellow flushed red. The fruit produces an intense flavour that is honeyed and crisp. It is a great plant for bees.

Site: prefers a sheltered site, and a location where it won’t get morning sun to protect the blossom from frost.
Soil: Any well-drained soil with plenty of organic matter added
